I have a '95 NG900with the 2.3 engine. Over the past year or so, I also had a "Wet" area at the left front corner of the head to block joint. I wasn't loosing much coolant, but decided to retorque the head anyway. The cost was in the reverse Torx socket and a new valve cover gasket. The head bolts were loose - especially the one at the left front corner. Had verything back together in an hour or so. Didn't notice any change in coolant loss - that wasn't my problem to bein with. I did notice a little better acceleration - but that could have been my imagination.
Anyway, its no big deal to retorque the head bolts as long as the indy knows what he's doing.
Good Luck,
