If your motor is running, you may be able to fix it yourself, however, you will need to remove the regulator assembly and since it is riveted, you will have to drill the rivets out. You can secure it back to the door with bolts, that’s what I did.
Had a same problem few weeks ago. In my case, the steel line had slipped off the plastic guides and got wrapped around the drum, which normally sends the window up and down. The window would hesitate to go up, then it stopped completely and I foolishly kept pressing the button up and down, that’s when I got thel line all tangled up, but fortunately didn’t break anything.
There are 5torx screws that hold the door panel- 2 at the bottom of the door, way down by the bottom “fin”, 2 in the door handle, and 1 under the latch that opens the door. After you remove the bolts, you will remove the panel and see a gray foam cover, after you remove that you should see parts of the regulator. Use a small mirror and a light and see what’s going on, if the line is off the guides you saved yourself major $$$ , if the motor is dead, you could secure the window in its up position forever, I would have as I rarely open it anyway, or you could drill the rivets out (5of them) and try to find a used regulator on Ebay or local scrapyards for at least %50 less. Naturally, you can determine if the motor is dead without having to take the panel off, in any case, it takes 5minutes.
Good luck,
Tomasz
