Hi: thanks for trying to help.
When I follow your instructions, there is a noise emanating from behind the clutch pedal. The noise is at its max when the clutch is not engaged - ie no pressure on the pedal. When the clutch is fully engaged - pedal to the floor - the clutch has a little noise. As I engage or disengage the clutch it is a little jerky as opposed to being a smooth transition. The sound is somewhat gravelly when the clutch pedal is not pressured at all - ie disengaged.
I have had no previous issues with the clutch & it came out of the blue while driving on Sunday.
Could it have any correlation with the amount of engine oil - if it is a little low?
If it is what you think, is this a major repair both in terms of parts & labor?
Thanks a lot,
Michael
