5sp gearbox & torque

Giday,
I have a 1996 v6, 5 speed NG900 (120,000klms).
I notice that when I get up into the revs, its a little harder to find the gears. Its like as if the high engine torque requires me to find the gears, rather than slot straight into them.
My question is - will the replacement of the gearbox mount with a new one prevent this excessive torque movement?
cheers
jason
