She got it with 50k on it and some of the coupons in book were signed. 60K was done by in indy...PVC unknown, but was going to do that based on advice from the board because it started leaking...the car ran great...mostly synthetic, not mobile 1. I'm sure a house brand done at a local oil change only place.(even an indy saab repair is an hours drive)She did get a notice that it was included in the sludge problem motors. According to my hot rod friend turbo charged engines are more prone to sludge because of extra heat and the machine shop seemed to think mine was no worse than most 100k foriegn engines. He recommended something called auto foam to reduce the problem. He does not do Saabs often, because no one in town works on them. He did an 8 valve head for me 13 years ago on her first Saab(300K) and actually remebered it beacause it had dropped a valve and the piston punched it back into the head with no piston damage. I know these cars are tough and I don't mind spending extra time pulling the engine out. Thanks
