If your car is a pre '98 there is a rotational potentiometer at the main bearing and it cannot be adjusted. The problem is then probably a synchronisation problem between left and right. This can only be checked with the Tech II diagnostic unit.
If your car is a post '98 there is a sensor integrated into the left hydraulic cylinder and cannot be adjusted. The problem then prpably lies in the hydraulics. Cleaning, checking the level and for leaks and bleeding might help.
This only if the roof is mechanically OK
