I have not read all of the posts...
You have some sludge in the sump and it is breaking up. That hard material is not all going to be in the filter, larger bits will plug the overly fine oil pickup screen and starve the engine. You may hear some hydraulic whining when the pump starts to pull a suction on the screen.
Make sure that your low oil pressure warning system works. When you turn on the ignition and do not start the engine, you should see the low oil pressure warning light. If you do not, you have an overly common low oil pressure switch failure which indicates oil pressure when there is none. In that case, you would not get any warning about low oil pressure from the pickup screen getting plugged up.
