Well as far as the car
2001 Saab 93 SE Silver
Manual
Just hit 22k :-D
Everything stock and in pretty much perfect condition
Problems so far:
- The pixels in the head unit, and the temp controls don't all work, I've heard this is pretty widespread any there's not to much ya can do about it, I would like to find a nice new GPS/DVD head unit and as far as the temp controls I don't really know (suggestions welcome!)
- I've had the car for about 4 months now, and just recently, when I get up to go to work in the morning after letting the car rest for a good 8-10 hours, when I go to start it, the engine wont crank all the way, it gets to like a 'half idle' then holds it for a sec and dies, then I have to try 1 or 2 more times before it'll actually turn over
- I being an idiot a few weeks back i also blew out my passenger door speaker, which is rather depressing, because now the sound system sounds like poop, id really like to get all new speakers and a nice new head unit, if anyone has a good combination of head unit/speakers that they have had please let me know (Links are great!)
- I've got the original tires (7 year old, P6000s, and one P6(with only 5k on that one)), the tread is not to bad and there's no sign of dry rot, but there's just the smallest dime size dimple extruding from the sidewall of the front passenger tire, I don't think its at risk of a blow out anytime soon, but I do wanna get a new set, but before getting a new set I think I'd much rather find a fatter rim that can have a nicer fatter tires (again links to recommended rims/tires would be great)
Thankfully those are really the only complaints I have.
What I'm really looking for is where to start, I have about 7k sitting in the bank that I'm willing to start putting into the car, I just really don't know what/where to get started with or in what order
Thanks to everyone that responds, I'll have to get some pictures of my baby for everyone.
