New Front Rotors: Now a Mystery Noise

As many know, I've been posting a lot of questions about installing new front rotors. Well, I got it done yesterday without any further problems.
Driving into work this morning, I noticed that there is a new ticking sound coming from both front wheels now. It sounds like if you hit 2 small steel ball bearings together, or like a card in a bicycle spoke, and it only happens when I get above around 40mph. The ticking is very fast as well. Is something possibly rubbing something else? I put the index screws back in, but only hand tight as the heads are completly stripped and I don't have new ones yet.
Is it possible they worked their way out? Any ideas?
Thanks.
