Depends on whether you can stand the new sound - anything but OEM will change the sound, and in my experience the mufflers that are replacement just for that model of vehicle sound OK/good, and generic stuff usually makes the car sound crappy/kills the sound/changes it to a different pitch etc - magnaflows are for V8's/.... so I'd say don't have the muffler shop put junk on.
I know you, being a corvette owner, don't want to totally hose up the sound of your Saab.

Having said that - read the list on exhausts for the 9-3/900 available -
being a wrencher you'll appreciate putting it on yourself also - they're real easy on these cars - check taliaferro's website (genuine) for some choices.

If you do just want to put OEM they do go cheap on fleabay fairly often - you may have just found a dry spell since not many are upgrading them anymore and lots are rusting out on the coasts.
I'd offer mine but I'm not ready to upgrade yet (can you wait til later after summer?) - I still want to listen to the ones offered by TF before changing over - nothing like regret... :)
