You buying her a house too?
Sorry, I just don't get this 'buying a car' like it's a bicycle thing....too many kids have such 'entitlement' issues these days. I know...none of my business except I have trouble hiring students these days who don't have this attitude. My rant is done!!!!
Anyways, no issues other than typical 9.3 (sludge) and the '99 having weaker pistons (avoid modified/tuned '99s). As others mentioned, Viggen owners tend to 'use' the car more aggressively and that's fine as long as it's been maintained well to compensate and that it hasn't been abused. Biggest abuse would be driving the car hard when the engine is cold, spinning the wheels on start-up, etc. How do you know if this was done...research the past owner, check how well it was taken care of, and avoid any car with repairs done on the cheap (mismatched tires, incorrect DIC, etc.).
Good luck....Viggen's a great car but I'm not sure I'd want to put my daughter in one (can be a handful) and especially I wouldn't want any of her boy friends driving it!
