I (and my mechanic) have tried several time to get the car out of limp mode. Everytime we reset the throttle body the engine light goes out but the idle is ruff and the gas pedal does not affect the throttle. I did have a qustion about the pedal arm, It says to turn it clockwise, Does it click and should it end up in the position that it appears in the diagram. (mine is in that position now as it sits in limp mode) the last error code that put it into limp mode was 1253
