Purchased Nov 2006 w/60k... $12,900
Preventative replacements 75k (PCV, MAF, plugs)... $200
Forthcoming water pump replacement (small leak) 101k ... $200
Oil, filters 60k - 101k... $300
Tires 100k... $600
Total cost of ownership, including wear items: $14,200
Still less than the price of a Civic. Get a manual, do the work yourself - the parts aren't particularly expensive (in fact, much cheaper than lexus/audi/acura etc), it's the hourly rate.
