Ok, so a few years ago I triggered my SRS light by removing the Alarm/Instrument cluster fuse when the battery in my alarm armer went out. I didn't know that doing this would trigger the light until after word since I effectively removed the instrument cluster with the battery still connected. So, I'm 99% sure there is nothing wrong with the SRS system, however, I don't have the money to waste at the dealer just to have them plug in a scantool, tell me nothing is wrong, and then turn the light off, i just can't justify spending 80 bucks for 5 min of work. If I remove the bulb, will this mess with the SRS system, i.e, open some circuit somewhere? Right now having the light always on isn't telling me anything, so having the light always off won't be any different.
