Tensioner , idler pulley and serpentine belt change

Hello Everyone,
This is all about SAAB 900 SE 1995 V6
This weekend I changed tensioner pulley (serpentine belt) myself and after this my "oil pressure" light does not come on when I put ignition key in "on" position. So wonder if I disturbed some connections while removing air intake and pulling tensioner with 15 mm wrench. I inspected everything visually and everything seems to be fine. Any word of advice on what possibly happened?
In addition, couple weeks ago I was studying possibility of replacing idler pulley and serpentine belt by myself on the street and realized that it is a bit difficult (since I have to lower the engine). However, when I removed front right wheel I noticed a tube and some kind of sensor that was hanging next to it. I plugged it into the tube and noticed later that it caused some erratic idle rpm. Therefore, I removed sensor later on. Does anyone know what this sensor does and should it hang freely or be plugged in?
After all this maneuvers I am still not too happy with my idle rpm when car is not totally warmed up. Also there is a bit of erratic vibrations when car is in idle. I guess these vibrations might be caused by older spark plugs ( my are 30k old).
Any suggestions comments?
Regards,
Alex
