Cranking the engine for 2 minutes straight is going to ruin the starter, if it's not already bad. You could have a weak battery, bad cables between the battery and starter, bad ground cable between the battery and frame/engine, weak starter, or a combination of some or all. I would test the cables by jumping the negative battery terminal to the engine (ground), the positive battery cable from the positive battery terminal to the positive post on the starter. My best bet is defective/worn solenoid (which is part of starter) or weak starter... Ron
