Soooo, on monday I pulled my purge valve, cleaned it with carb cleaner and wd-40 and re installed it. The car has been fine around town. It seemed like everything was okay. I drove (1999 9-3se) to Reno (30 miles away) on Tuesday afternoon, ran fine on the highway and freeway. I stopped for a few minutes at my girlfriends house, and when I got back in my car to leave the idle was super rough. I thought it would even itself out, but it didn't it had no power, and it wouldn't go. It sounded terrible and the idle was rough and uneven as if it was getting no power. I went to where I was going and came back two and a half hours later, my car was running normal again.

The next morning it was running fine again too. I thought the problems had ended. Today I came up to Reno again after work. It ran fine up to Reno, it was jumping a little bit at stoplights prior to getting on the freeway. It ran fine on the freeway. I went to the university and came back to start my car about two hours later and it was back to how it was running on tuesday. I let it run for a few and it leveled out and drove fine. I went to dinner, came out and started it, same thing. It sort of leveled out, I drove a few miles and got gas. I had the car stopped for two minutes, when i got back in to start it, it was running horribly rough again and was barely able to get to 20mph. Fortunately I got back to my girlfriends. Currently it's still running like crap. No check engine lights or codes though...

I don't know what to do. Could it be the purge valve that I cleaned on monday? I haven't cleaned the IAC yet, but I was going to do that next. Should I clean the purge valve again?
