If it is in fact worn out injectors that are leaking down there isn't really anything you can do for them. However, 150,000 miles isn't much for a set of injectors. If the car acts like it's flooded while your trying to start it, you may simply have a bad coolant temperature sensor. The coolant temperature determines how much fuel is needed to get the engine to fire. If the sensor is reading lower than actual coolant temps, the fuel injection system will deliver more fuel than necessary. Also, I don't know if your engine (I've never even seen the V6) has a mass air flow sensor, but this can cause similar starting issues.

If your injectors are in fact causing the problem, you would notice easier starts when the engine is cold, and much more difficult starts when the engine is warm, but has been turned off for several minutes. The reason for this is because the leaky injectors will flood the engine after 5-15 minutes, but after some time passes, that extra fuel will leak down past the piston rings and eventually leave you with a relatively normal condition. One thing you can try to determine if your injectors are actually leaking out is to check the fuel pressure while the engine is running and watch how fast it drops after the engine is turned off. If the injectors are leaking, the pressure will drop quickly. Then, turn the key back on, and see if the pressure comes back up; you may need to crank the engine to get the fuel pump to turn on without allowing the engine to fire, so you might want to disconnect the ignition system. Watch the gauge, and see how consistent the pressure remains.

If you need to replace your injectors, expect to spend at least $50 each for new ones; you may be able to find a set in a salvage yard for $50 total.

My money is on the coolant temperature sensor.

GOOD LUCK!
