retorque head B235R Viggen head gasket leak Posted by Viggen Aero [Email] (#977) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Viggen Aero) on Mon, 24 Aug 2009 12:19:50 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a B235R from a 2000 9-5 aero in my 01 Viggen. I have a slow coolant leak I think is caused by the head gasket. I get a lot of white smoke (condensation) from the exhaust for a few minutes until the car warms up. It stops when the car is warm. And it takes 7-10 days for the coolant in the overflow tank to drop to the "add coolant" level. I have the SAAB TSB for the procedure.
I want to install the new style head bolts ( if I don't already have them). How can I identify if I have the old or new bolts?
Any other suggestions/ ideas?
