Take the car to any of the big chain auto stores, they should be able to test the alternator and battery right in the parking lot. Assuming you have a good alternator and a good battery, the next assumption would be something silly like the light in the trunk or glove compartment staying on. The easiest way to check circuits to see if they're draining the battery is to remove the negative battery terminal and connect a test light, or any 12v device for that matter, between the battery post and clamp. If the light comes on while everything should be off, you have a drain. You'll then want to start by removing the fuse for your interior lights, and continue pulling fuses until that light goes off. The fuse that stops power from keeping that light on is the circuit that is draining your battery, and once you know this it will be easy to determine what component on the circuit is causing the problem.
Like Wayfarer said, patience will pay off.
