Use the bleeder valve, that's what it's there for. Deep socket, 13mm with a tool to grip it. You're not gonna break it unless your tighten it too much, which even then is hard enough.
Maybe you have big arms, not sure, so this might not be so easy. The lower rad hose is on the left side of the radiator, if you look down. Connects to the engine and rad.
How is it possible that you have so many problems with a car with only 42k? Seems strange the brakes are that bad!
