Hi there,
I believe my power steering suction hose is leaking; probably due to dry rot on the rubber part that goes to the resivior.It seems very dry and brittle, the piece of rubber that connects from the resivior to the beginning of the metal part of the hose.Are there any short cuts to repair this rather than replace the hose in its entirety?..Perhaps cutting the metal where it meets the rubber and lap a hose over the metal, then back to the resivior?. The rest of the host looks almost perfect. The replacement hose is like 179.00 or so, a bit pricey. My car is a 1997 900 SET Convertible and runs niceee! Thanks in advance
