Sorry about the double reply, just saw the question about how to jump the fuel pump.
Go in the fuse block and look up which one is the fuel pump (on the 1995 900S it is fuse 32). The fuses insert vertically on my Saab with the top of the fuse connecting to the power and the bottom of the fuse to the load (pump, lights, etc.). Take a piece of wire and connect the bottom of fuse 32 to the top of any fuse with active power. I used fuse 4 which was the interior lights for this test. When I did this, I could hear the pump running. Remember doing this bypasses all the relays so all you are testing is whether the pump will run. Again, I would strongly suspect the CPS is the problem here, but that is based on my bias from just having the part fail on me.
