Hey thanks for the advice John Myers, Turbo00 and Peter_UMA. While waiting for a response I remembered I had asked a similar question in May but then had to go to ND for two weeks. John had provided an earlier answer and the Saab part # for the suspect part. I have access to the part but the wire leads run up and forward in to the center of the dash. Is there a plug on the leads or do I cut and splice? Also Peter_UMA states there is a resistor for the fan for the ACC version. All I have at the fan end is a white socket with one male flat connector pointed down and at an angle underneath the socket. I have looked at fan resistor's images advertised for sale and I don't have any of the package that is shown beneath the socket. I will have to get a mirror to look for a broken part down around the fan area as the hood is still on the car.
