hi, i've used this board frequently and found many helpful tips, saving me tons of $$. I haven't been able to find anything on my current problem. The car runs great (2.0L turbo), accelerates fine, but once on the highway at about 65-70 MPH, the car hesitates, almost like a mis-fire. no CEL or codes. Mechanic had it for 2 days, tried everything, changed the plugs, checked the turbo, vacuum, etc. Replaced the TBI about 20k ago with a BB REman. Mechanic thinks it may be the start of a catalytic converter failure and that it will eventually throw a code.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
