Well my master cylinder went on my 2000 viggen with about 130,000 miles on it. I was in the middle of installing a new master cylinder following the jist of these instructions to basically put in a totally new hydraulic clutch.

Anyway I came across this little fastener of some kind(I dont know what it is called) that is bugging the hell out of me cause i dont want to break it. Anyway I couldnt really get a good look at it but if anyone knows how to remove these without breaking or if i do break it what is the best alternative. Here is a picture from that tutorial which I edited that shows what I am talking about. I will take some up close pics tomorrow if no one has a quick answer.

(It basically just hold the rod in place that the master cylinder pivots on...)
Thanks,
Will
