Well my only thoughts were a heat gun as well, since theres no way to really get goo gone or anything like that in, but as I was washing my car today, I asked my neighbor if he had any ideas and he advided I try lodging a 2x4 in the latch and hammer it to get it loose. So I ran hown to home depot, and got one cut. It took a few hammers but worked!
My convertible is back!
