Radiator Drain Lesson Learned

ref: 1996 900SE vert 51m

I am preparing my daughter's vert for trip from NJ to Florida in two weeks.

It was time to flush the radiator and replace the thermostat. So I opened the drain plug and it shot out to who knows where! Pulled the grill, headlights, both wheels, etc. Can't find that sucker to save my life. So now I have to find a drain plug for a Nissens radiator,

Lesson learned.....pull off the lower hose!
