More info after spending quality time searching the board:
Fuel in the tank: About ¾ tank and still showing issue.
Fuel Pump Running: When cold & turn ignition to On I hear a humming (maybe running)… but it runs & runs. After about 90 seconds or so, I get impatient & start the car. If car is off for just a few minutes, with ignition to On, no sound from fuel pump & seems to catch a little faster.
Tachometer Moving: When cold, the tack does not move for the first couple of seconds then jumps to about 400rpm & then engine catches & starts. If car is off for just a few minutes (see above fuel pump situation) the tach does not move till it catches & straight to 1000+/- rpm. Is the tach not really moving a symptom of a bad CPS or is a Tech2 needed to properly read RPM during crank (I have not checked the resistance yet… 540 ohms +/- 55 on T5, right?)?
So again, any suggestions on the CPS vs Fuel Pump vs. Fuel Line Check Valve vs. something got knocked during the alignment (tire shop, not my indy Saab guy)?
Also, if it is the fuel pump, I will probably take it to my indy Saab shop where I am guessing they will drop the tank. Does it matter how much gas is in the tank, i.e. should I wait, if I can till I burn a lot of it off (want to be nice)?
