My '02 9-3 SE (5-speed) won't start. I tried to test the DIC by pulling it, plugging in the 4 spark plugs and grounding each of them to the (-) battery terminal. While trying the crank the engine, I didn't see spark from ANY of the plugs. Does this indicate a bad DIC for certain?
From other posts I've read, I got the impression that even a bad DIC should show "some" spark from a few of the plugs. Can anyone help me on this issue? I'm confused. Thanks!
