Yes the intermediate switch is mounted to the rails on the left side. You can see it with the tonneau cover open. It's mounted with a small allen screw. Try following the wires and I'm sure you will find it. It's not on the arms for the 5th bow, it's on the main part. It's supposed to close as the main part of the top is folding back and tells the module to open the 5th bow valves and let the 5th bow go limp. The module ignores the intermediate switch when the top is closing.
