It is widespread quality issues with after market water pump o-rings where they get hard and doesn't follow the expansion/contraction of two different metals (cast iron and aluminum).
So when you park the car hot with pressure built up in the cooling system and the aluminum tube shrink faster than the cast iron block, it is a period of time where coolant is allowed to seep out.
When the car is cold or hot, you can have it under pressure overnight without finding a leak. It is only during this transition period during cool down it leaks. And then it gets worse and worse.
