I dont know how a broken mount would cause a leak. Engine mounts are two pieces of steel with rubber sandwiched in between and bonded to the steel. When a motor mount breaks, typically the rubber separates from the steel somewhere.
- When starting from full stop there is a feeling of that something is moving with a "very" faint thump.
This could be indicative of a broken mount, but its hard to say. If you do have a broken mount, depending on the location of broken one, when you start from a dead stop you are applying more torque to the drivetrain. This will cause the motor/trans to "rise up" as the broken mount is no longer holding the engine in place. Once you start moving the torque is reduced, allowing the motor to sit back down in its proper position, thus the thump.
