@ Jeremy R: I think you misunderstood. Monroe actually sells a control arm for our cars under their own brand name. My I=indy feels that this one is better than the others such as Febi, PFS (Parts for SAABs), ScanTech (the worst in his opinion), etc.

I still think that I can find a ball joint that can be pressed in or bolted to an existing control arm. A 2 year control arm should have bushings that are still good, especially if it is OEM, so trying to resurrect it might be worthwhile.

I would never consider used as you have no idea what it is or how old it is.....my tires are worth too much, but thanks for the suggestion!
