Hi everyone,
99 9-3 base lost turbo boost abruptly on the highway today. Gauge won't move out of the white zone. I pull the heat shield and lo, a wastegate arm is just flapping in the breeze. So far so good, but I actually don't know what it's supposed to look like when it's reattached. The only way I can figure is to just flip the lever arm toward the front of the car and just hook it back on with a paper clip until I can order something better. Is that all there is to it or am I missing something here?
Stupid question probably gets a stupid answer, but I did search the forum for a while before posting.
Thanks -
