Viggen valve cover PCV nipple

Hi all-
I bought a PCV update kit from Eeuro for my Viggen, and the plastic PCV nipple that goes in the back of the valve cover, passenger side (U.S.) looks a little different from the old one. Can't re-use the old one, as it crumbled from age/heat. The new one has a lip on it, which would seem to be there to prevent the nipple from being pushed out of the valve cover under boost. However, I'm having a terrible time getting the nipple in the valve cover. If I put on the bushing first, then I can't get the bushing to seat, and if I put the bushing in first, I can't get the nipple in. Any tricks?
