Saab recognized a serious blow by issue in the T7 motors caused by the new, low friction ring design. They redesigned the PCV system SIX times to fix it. They didn't do that just because they felt like redesigning it.
Motors that had had regular oil changes as required developed sludge problems. Saab paid ($4K) to replace many motors (and only when you could prove proper oil changes) at low miles. So regular oil changes are NO insurance against sludge. Better with than without, but no guarantee.
Install the kit ASAP. Replace the optional hoses - the originals are dried out or soft and depositing gunk in your pan. Drop your oil pan and clean the oil pickup screen - I guarantee it's at least 20% clogged at 130K, probably more.
Or just keep going and wait for the oil pressure warning to come on when you've ruined your motor.
