Does anybody have any idea how long a IDM will last before it starts to through out codes? I replaced my IDM with the Saab recall on my 01'93SE HOT back in 2005 or 06 and still is in use. Since then, I have put at least 125K on it. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and replace it now before it dies, which had stranded me 60 miles from my dealership before the recall. I do have a backup in the trunk that is "somewhat" OK, but will give me issues (Dealer gave me old one for free). So, any thoughts about this longevity?
