9-3 SE with 163K miles. This is a strange one that I really need advice on. When accelerating quickly, like going up a hill, passing a car, etc., there is a vibration or shuttering going on almost feels like a tire out of balance or something. However the tires are almost brand new and I've had them balanced twice. Plus when I feel that vibration or shuttering, I have tried backing off the accelerator and it is not present. So I definitely know that it is under acceleration. This weekend, thinking that was a miss firing issue, I swapped out direct ignition cassettes, changed the spark plugs and checked all of the air intake lines, and it didn't go away. Oh also, it seems to appear over about 45 mph. It definitely is engine related, not suspension because it doesn't appear when I back off the gap pedal. Could it be fuel injector related. Any ideas? Thanks!
