If you take off the cap you can see the fuel pump off to the left. I have done this by cutting a 3/4 circle at least six inches across. It is a pain to do with "heavy duty" tin snips. Getting the fuel pump out and re-installing is the biggest challenge especially with the float. Don't forget to align it properly, by the indicator marks on top, and mark the in and out (blk. and white) gas intakes as well. Good Luck...
