Is parting out a realistic proposition?

Hi guys,
So, I still have that formerly "pristine" 99 9-3 that got rear ended sitting in my garage. I've been considering a classic 900 turbo as a 3rd weekend/summer car. The 9-3 would have to go to a) make room and b)it would be nice to get some $$ out of it to offset the cost of acquiring the 900.
*This is not an ad...haven't decided to do anything yet...if I did, I'd take out an appropriate ad on this site.*
Right off the top of my head, the dual 3 spoke wheels, stainless SAAB sport exhaust and SAAB OEM roof load bars probably have some desirability/value and are easy to remove.
I'd want to keep the car "mobile" so it could eventually be taken away to a yard for whatever they could give me...so it doesn't seem feasible to be able to sell off suspension components (Eibach Pro Kit springs/Bilstein Sport shocks, SAS sway bar, steering rack clamp/brace). I guess anything else that can be picked off it would be fair game...seats, lights, door cards, etc? Is demand falling for parts for these cars now?
Does it even seem worth it, or more trouble than it is worth?
Thanks!
Alex
