are you sure the problem is the lock cylinder? I think that attaches to the actual lock mechanism with a pull rod, so if the lock was jammed up it would prevent the key from turning? So, you might need to lubricate the lock pivots rather than the key cylinder. Triflo is good for the lock mechanism, but it will be difficult to find the right place to lubricate without removing the whole thing and checking it out on a bench...
