yes and use a GENUINE SAAB water pump ! NOT a rock chi-com auto copy ! see the difference ? get a new gasket and O ring too !
I recently ordered two new water pumps for the OG 9-3 viggen ( 9-5 motor remember ! )
one is a $130 genuine OEM part warranteed for life The other..... is a chi-com copy and costs $30 ! - The kind of part you might get from...Rock Auto ,e bay et all ? I think you can see the difference? ....One seems to be much beefier in the bearing / bushing seal area in the casting .... and when I grasped the pulley and the body of the cheap pump, and twisted, there was a definite play ! looseness ! A slight clicking sound ! Just a reminder you DO get what you pay for !
Hell yes you get what you pay for cheap = junk ! OEM = quality ! 🙂
PS real one is on the right !
