Hello,
I think another basic thing to try would be cleaning the battery terminals especially the ground wire at its connections to the transmission bracket and the body. How old is the battery? A starter draws the most when its start cranking and a little corrosion at either the positive connection at the starter or the ground points can cause voltage to drop slightly below 10.5 v which basically shuts down Trionic until the voltage reaches back up to 10.5 volts. This is another easy thing to try. If this makes it worse I would look for big vacuum leaks and or actually check fuel pressure. Most likely the check valve is not stuck fully open, but it is a possiblity, so the priming would have atleast improved starting some. Try that and I'll think of the next thing I would check. Good Luck, Bernie
