Window switch - diagnosis? Pinouts?

Hi,
The driver's side front window on my 2002 9-3 5D is borked. My wife couldn't raise yesterday, after a short rest I tried and it worked/came up, but then after lowering it again it is stuck there. No sound from the motor when I use the switch, plus it did come up again once, so it isn't something like broken rollers.
All the other windows work fine. I removed the switch, disassembled it and cleaned/scraped/deoxited the contacts (there was considerable corrosion on the drivers side contacts), reassembled it, but still the same, all the windows work except the front driver's. So, questions:
1) Is there anything else I can/should look at other than the switch?
2) Is there some other way I can raise the window, maybe a circuit I can short? I don't have the pinouts of the switch, and also don't know if it is a simple mechanical switch where shorting at the socket would work. I can't park the car at work if I can't get the window up.
Thanks in advance for any help.
David
