Yes, the stuff is thick and I applied it with a wood craft stick like a popsicle stick. Once applied it does not run or flow. You can choose the product curing time when you buy it and also the amount of product you need. It came in a tube that has an internal tube. You have to mix the two products together when you are ready to use by means of a plunger in the tube. I believe they have some kind of caulking gun to dispense it but I just used a socket on an extension to push it out of the tune. The entire tube must be used at once as it will cure in the stated time whether in the tube or dispensed. I prepared the plastic fuel tank by cleaning with rubbing alcohol, roughing up the surface with fine sand paper and then cleaning once more. If you can get to it, it would probably be best to apply a thin coat on both inside and outside.
