I also use the sylvania cool blues and they are still $15 at Autozone. There are sold elsewhere, but i'm not sure where. the are definately whiter and appear brighter. i have noticed decreased life over stock bulbs.. i do leave my lights on all the time. but i love the whiter color and 'brighter' appearance so i'm willing to pay the (relatively small) premium. i haven't seen them for fogs tho, so they may not work for you. initially i thought i'd want that too... but it turns out yellower light is actually slightly better for incliment weather (not as much glare off the fog) so ultimately i decided to stay with stock.
