To anyone with an external boost control manual or electronic.
A couple of nights ago after taunting a S4 (who TRIED to outrun me but failed hehe)a very peculiar thing happened. After burring the turbo gauge needle into the red (black panel mode on)in 4th gear and around 4.5-5K rpm, the car for a split second kinda lost boost. It actually felt lick a kick, and automaticaly the turbo gauge lit up (since everything was in black panel mode) the temp guage was fine the gas was fine. So the only thing left, that i figure is that my Electronic boost control was set to 15psi but since i never really push the car i had never experienced this.
Is this split sec loss of power an indication that the MAP sensor kicked in and cut fuel supply at 15 psi?? I have since lowered the pressure a bit, and have not noticed the same sequence of events.
Best regards
andreas
