So I am test driving the 95 900se - an extended test drive and I notice that 5th gear is really hard to find and get into - but after a while I think I am getting used to it. Then after stopping at my house I kill the car a couple of times because it feels like I am trying to start out in 3rd gear - which I was not - it should have been in first. So I am making my way back to the used car dealer (which is right across the road from the SAAB dealer - which dealer supposedly had just replaced the clutch) and I can barely get away from the lights - sometimes it works like it is first gear other times it doesn't so then I get to the dealer and I cannot for the life of me get it into either reverse or first gear. So anyway my interest in the car is a bit diminished to say the least.

So what gives? Is the transmission toast? Or is it the clutch? Anyway they are going to take it the SAAB dealer on monday to find out what is up. Should I still be interested?
