I normally use Griot's Garage "Vinyl and Rubber Dressing" on my exterior trim. It gives a good gloss and lasts a long time.
But I also use peanut oil to remove any wax residue, and it also leaves a good shine and lasts a long time. So either one would be OK. Peanut oil probably doesn't have UV blockers in it, but then who knows.
For my tires I use Stoner "More Shine Less Time" areosol silicone spray. It gives a satin gloss and lasts several weeks, even in the rain.
